Blacktown Spartans continue their relationship with Sydney Muscle Care as official therapist to elite players and more

The relationship between Blacktown Spartans, and Sydney Muscle Care, commenced at the beginning of the 2006 season, when Sydney Muscle Care were first engaged by Blacktown Spartans to care for the ongoing muscle fitness of the Under 20's, and First division State League teams.  

Throughout the 2006 season, Sydney Muscle Care was brought on board in an additional role, to review injuries from ALL ages, and advise on the most suitable treatment for the player involved.

Blacktown Spartans saw fit to extend this arrangement with Sydney Muscle Care to now look after members of the Blacktown Spartans throughout the 2007 season, and yet still further, until the end of the 2008 season, with a focus on the preventative maintenance of players, rather than simply treating injuries.

As Blacktown Spartans needs have changed, choosing to educate and support their players in order to get the best out of them on a week to week basis so have the services supplied by Sydney Muscle Care, who now also offer Personal Training, (group or one on one) and this is currently being reviewed by the club, with the intent to have our Trainer attend coaching sessions at select times, to work with players at various levels, to increase not only the fitness of the players, but the eagerness to compete.

As we have found out, anyone who pushes their body to the limit, as a lot of us do, needs to maintain that body in the same way we would a high performance machine.

The correct fuel, regular maintenance and servicing, and attention to problems as soon as they become apparent.

Blacktown Spartans have once again put their faith in Sydney Muscle Care to look after these needs, on a week to week basis, and with the implementation of regular treatments, injury assessment and treatment, and the right supplements when needed, we (the partnership of Blacktown Spartans and Sydney Muscle Care) are looking forward to an even more successful year in 2008.
